Make a world on a table

There is nothing more fun than making a big 3D piece of art. You get to use lots of different types of material and the creations can just go on and on! It always amazes me how much detail the children think to put in.

This is a rainforest and the two little girls have added rivers, waterfalls, bridges and rainbows, tribal huts and animals. We used a bit of homemade play dough to stick everything down. We also used lots of crepe paper rolls on this one with plants from the garden. Kitty introduced rabbits into the mix which did not please Grace as they are not in the ‘proper’ Amazon!

Enid Blyton Rating: 7 (Really fun to make – apart from the rabbit meltdown – but we did have to eat off our laps for a few nights as no one wanted to take it down!)
